Blessed with the verdant beauty of the meadows, and the exotic flowers this will be trek which will take you through small streams.Get a chance to witness the vivid flora and fauna of the region like saxifrages, sediams, lilies, poppy, calendula, daisies and brown bear, snow leopard, blue sheep.Catch the glimpse of the famous Hathi Parvat and Saptrishi peaks while you head out on this trek.Meet the local people and learn about the culture of this region. Also, do share a cup of tea with them.While at Hemkund Sahib take a dip in the holy water and purify your soul.Also, enjoy a lakeside camping and spend the night under the clear night sky.

Location: Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India.
Altitude: Valley of Flowers at around 3,658 meters (12,073 feet).
Scenic Beauty: UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for vibrant alpine flowers, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Best Time to Trek: July to September, when the valley is in full bloom.
Difficulty Level: Moderate, suitable for beginners; well-marked trail with gradual ascent.
Duration: Typically 6-7 days, including trekking and exploration of the Valley of Flowers.

  • Transportation during the journey from the pickup on day 01 to drop on day 06 is covered.
  • Accommodation – Stay is included from Day 1 to Day 5 (Joshimath to Joshimath). You will be staying in lodges on all days of the trek. Rooms will be shared with fellow trekkers.
  •  Meals – Dinner at  Joshimath on Day 1 to breakfast at  Lower Auli/Joshimath on Day 6 are included. We provide simple vegetarian food on all days of the trek.
  •  Total Meals: 5 Breakfasts, 4 Packed Lunches  &  4 evening snacks or soup during trek days  , and 5 Dinner.
  • Accommodations on sharing basis as per itinerary.
  • Trip Coordinator.

  • Since Valley of Flowers is a monsoon trek, there are possibilities of roadblocks due to landslides. Account for this by adding a buffer day in your travel plan.
  •  Local Transfer from Govindghat to Pulna and Back.

Tour Plan

  • Arrive at Joshimath/Lower Auli in the evening after a treacherous mountain road journey.
  • Joshimath is a celestial place surrounded by beautiful mountains, perched at an altitude of 1821 meters above sea level.
  • Spend the night here for a fresh start the next day.
  • Altitude: 6,300 ft (1,920 m) to 9,600 ft (2,926 m) via 7,200 ft (2,195 m)
  • Depart from Joshimath to Govindghat, then take a local transfer to Pulna, the start point of the trek.
  • Ascend towards Ghangaria, with the river Lakshman Ganga flowing gently below.
  • Explore the surroundings in the evening after arrival at Ghangaria.
  • Altitude: 9,600 ft (2,195 m) to 11,500 ft (3,505 m)
  • Start the trail early to spend more time in the Valley.
  • View the beautiful Himalayan Balsam and other rare flowers.
  • Descend back to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.
  • Altitude: 9,600 ft (2,926 m) to 14,107 ft (4,300 m) and back
  • Climb to Hemkund Sahib, a renowned Sikh Shrine surrounded by seven snow-capped mountains.
  • Visit the beautiful Hemkund Sahib lake and Laxman Mandir.
  • Descend back to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.
  • Start the downhill trek back to Pulna, then return to Govindghat.
  • Drive to Joshimath/Lower Auli to check into the hotel for the night.
  • Depart from Joshimath early morning for the return journey.
  • Arrive at Rishikesh late evening.
