ABOUT TUNGNATH TREK
Tungnath is a special temple in Uttarakhand, India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It’s the highest Shiva temple globally, perched at 12,073 feet. People trek to Tungnath from the base camp in Chopta. This temple is part of the Panch Kedar group of five Shiva temples. The trek is moderate, offering stunning Himalayan views. The temple opens for a limited time due to snow. Tungnath is considered sacred, and its name means “Lord of the Peaks.” Pilgrims also visit nearby Chandrashila for beautiful mountain panoramas.

Tour Plan
Morning we drive to Chopta via Devprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi, from Devprayag the Holy river Ganges started), Rudraprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini River). Breakfast and lunch enrooted. Arrival at Chopta. Stay in Chopta hotel or tents.
Chopta After an early breakfast trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts from the sea level. The highest shiva tample in world. The trek is 3.5 kms upward. Enrooted you will find lush green meadows and you can see the entire range of snow clapped Himalayas. Upon arrival at Tungnath Temple and visit the temple. Later trek back to Chopta for dinner and overnightstay
After an early breakfast drive to Haridwar. Lunch enrooted. Upon arrival at Haridwar tour end & our services also end.
