On arrival, meet with our assistant and proceed to Chopta. Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres away. On arrival check in camps and relax. Dinner & night stay at Camps in Chopta.
Today at leisure, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayas. One can go for a trekking tour of Tungnath (Highest temple of Lord Shiva) and Chandrashila Peak. Chandrashila is the summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4000 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. Today after breakfast, drive to Sari Village. From Sari trek to Deoria Tal and back to Sari. Evening back to Chopta / Mastura. Dinner & night stay at hotel in Mastura.
Deoria Tal is a lake about 3 km from the villages of Mastura and Sari on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of 2,438 meters, it has heavily wooded, lush green surroundings with snow-covered mountains in the backdrop
After breakfast checkout hotel and drive back to Rishikesh. En-route passes through Rudraprayag (Confluence of River Alaknanda and Mandakini), Devprayag (Confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhaigirathi) and Rishikesh. Drop at Rishikesh for your further journey to next beautiful destination – your home.
